THOMAS J. MARTIN, CPA, MBA

Tom has broad experience from his previous positions as lecturer, consultant, and accounting executive. Having worked for many years as a Supervising Auditor and Technical Specialist for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, Tom has superior accounting qualifications for government contractors. Experience in engineering and manufacturing also provides wide knowledge of private sector tax and accounting issues. Tom earned an accounting degree from Merrimack College, and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University. Professional affiliations include the AICPA, as well as the MSCPA (Massachusetts Society of CPAs). He is a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps.

SHEREE DEFEO, MBA

Sheree has experience in corporate accounting, with expertise ranging from operations to financial reporting. She handles a broad range of projects for Kline and Company, drawing on her extensive work with budgets, spreadsheets and accounting software. Sheree earned an undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from Dundalk Regional Technical College (Ireland). She also earned an MBA from Rivier.

WILLIAM D. CUMMINGS,
ENROLLED AGENT

Bill has worked in accounting since 1997. His expertise is in creating specialized spreadsheets for our client companies including cash flow budgets and cost proposals. Bill is proficient in a number of computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and many other business applications. Bill is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and trains our clients in the use of QuickBooks accounting software. Bill’s prior experience includes project accounting for a large construction company.

PAULINE M. FRITZ,
OFFICE MANAGER

Pauline has been providing bookkeeping services for more than 20 years. She spends significant time setting up and training clients in the use of automated accounting systems including QuickBooks. Pauline manages the day-to-day operations of Kline & Company and the firm’s computer systems. Pauline has attended many specialized courses in computer applications and has a Certificate in PC Applications having completed a 900-hour program.

JESSICA A. JOUBERT,
RECEPTIONIST

Jessica joined Kline & Company in 2002 as the firm’s Receptionist. The first impression that Jess gives to our clients helps them feel welcome and part of the Kline & Company team. Jess greets our clients, schedules appointments and works on client projects. Jess also purchases the firm’s supplies, coordinates the workflow between our offices and assembles the final tax returns for delivery to our clients.
